Carlos Alava is the Managing Director of CSD Aero Services and brings over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with 6 years working as a purchasing supervisor for AOG in two major carriers – VASP A/L and TAM A/L. Based in São Paulo, he leads the company’s strategic direction and oversees partnerships with OEMs from the U.S. and Europe, supporting their expansion into Latin America. With a strong background in international business development, Carlos is known for his ability to navigate complex commercial landscapes, build lasting client relationships, and align global supplier capabilities with regional market needs. His leadership continues to drive CSD’s reputation for excellence, reliability, and technical-commercial expertise across the aviation sector.
